Artistic Planning / Scheduling

The Artistic Planning area of OPAS is used to sketch out seasons, schedule non-orchestral activities (meetings, receptions, recitals or other performances, etc.), indicate Holidays and note artist avialabilities or other events that might impact your orchestra's schedule.

All activities, repertoire and artists you enter here are automatically integrated with the Dates area of OPAS so there is never a need for duplicate data entry.

In the Artistic Planning area, you can quickly build an unlimited variety of concerts, rehearsals and other events using templates. You can also cut, copy, paste and easily move activities throughout your season.

Because the Artistic Planning area fully integrates with every other area of OPAS, full repertoire, artist, venue and project information is only a mouse-click away.

Planning levels assigned to date areas allow only specified users of the software to see the information.  Advance seasons and subscription weeks can be created, and programs, soloists and conductors assigned in any amount of detail, with complete securityOnce the information is ready for dissemination, a simple change to one data field makes theses future activities available to all users of OPAS.

Documents, reports and schedules created from OPAS can pull information from all, or only selected, OPAS scheduling areas.
