OPAS
The Orchestra Planning and Administration System

Library and Permanent Holdings

The LIBRARY area of OPAS manages your orchestra's permanent holdings.  Scores and other archival materials such are recordings and books can be stored, sorted and detailed.  Catalog numbers, purchase information, score marking and bowing details, part information and other vital detail are kept, and you can view and print your Library holdings by virtually any criteria.  Moreover, OPAS enables you to indicate which score in your library was used for a specific performance of that work and the performance history of each score is only a mouse-click away.

The Library incorporates a customizable Checklist or “Things To Do“ screen on which you can create and track any actions, tasks or other data for each item in the library.  You can also link documents to any Library item in the database.  Text(s) and Translations, purchase contracts, document histories, sound or video clips and any other type of digital file can be permanently archived against the items to which it pertains.
