Excel Reports - Why do I have to contact you?
Many Excel reports pull information out of OPAS. Excel creates a connection to the underlying OPAS database, retrieves the information, then displays it in a Pivot Table.
Because you are starting in Excel and pulling data in from OPAS, the usual OPAS security rights do not apply. Anyone who has the spreadsheet can use it to pull data in from OPAS.
To avoid problems where someone who cannot see contract fees or personnel assignments in OPAS (for example) can retrieve that same information via Excel, we don't make these spreadsheets available for direct download.
