OPAS gives you unparalleled control over musician participation in orchestral activities.

You can create any kind or number of attendance types you wish, and assign them using a variety of methods to a single musician, an entire section or the entire orchestra for a day, week, project or entire season at a time.  OPAS enables you to track future and long-term absences such as sabbaticals and leaves, and you can even dictate how each type of attendance (such as standby or on-call) can affect a musicians pay or service record.

For each activity, the program shows you the number of required musicians (based upon the programmed compositions), service count and basic date/time/location/conductor information. OPAS checks for musician double-bookings, shows you when a musician plays more than one instrument in more than one section, and indicates substitute or extra musicians in a different color for ease of identification.

On the main Attendance grid, simply click a musician's name to assign him or her to the desired activities. Connected background information such as musician contact information, concert information and pay adjustments are only a mouse click away. A variety of filtering options make assigning musicians secure, logical and straightforward.

Unique to OPAS is the ability to not only designate musician attendance for an activity, but to individual works on that activity.  In this way you can specify the exact players who will be on stage for each work, manage section rotations, and even indicate off-stage or other work.

With the click of an icon (circled above) OPAS displays the program for the selected activity, and the specific instrumentation required for each one. You can indicate seats or rotation and assign musicians to specific works.

A variety of built-in reports and data analysis tools give you views of attendance by the player, section or activity, and enable you to quickly see weeks in which you've surpassed the maximum number of allowable services.  Virtually any attendance or service compilation report can be customized for the needs of your organization.

You can also print concert rosters, customized musician schedules, contracts, work assignments and more.
