David Daniels' Orchestral Music - A Handbook
Now Updated - January 2011!
OPAS features the ability to view and integrate the contents of David Daniels’ invaluable and industry-standard book "Orchestral Music – A Handbook ~ Fourth Edition." Complete title, instrumentation, composer and publisher information as found in the print version is included, and the OPAS database also incorporates movement titles and durations (space does not permit these to be printed in the book).
Repertoire from "Orchestral Music" can - in whole or part - be imported directly into your own copy of OPAS.
The collection has recently been updated with hundreds of changes and new works since the original book publication, bringing the total number of compositions to more than 7,180 (the print version of the fourth edition book contains roughly 6,400 entries). There are also numerous corrections, including shifts in publisher information.
Contact Fine Arts Software for pricing information and to purchase the "Orchestral Music" database for your copy of OPAS.
The print version of David Daniels' "Orchestral Music - A Handbook" Fourth Edition is available at fine booksellers everywhere. A subscription-based online version of the book is also available through Scarecrow Press by clicking here.
