The Project Copy function consists of five files. All five files are placed into the same folder: the OPAS\PROGRAM folder on your server (that is, the PROGRAM sub-folder within the main OPAS directory or folder on the Server). As with reports, the files need be placed in that one location only (they don’t need to be copied to local workstations). As with reports, each user of OPAS will need to restart OPAS on his/her computer in order to see the new function. The files are provided in a self-extracting format for easy download. Download this file: And then double-click on the file. You’ll see a screen like this:
Locate the OPAS\PROGRAM folder on your SERVER, and click the Unzip button.

| RUN THE FUNCTION |
In the WORKS area of OPAS, use any
combination of searches or filters to isolate any number of
works.
From the List screen, click the function icon (the little cogged wheel in the upper left corner of your computer screen. Choose Complete Code and click Start Function.
The Complete Code function is very simple. In the top field, type the value - letter, number or combination - you wish to put into the Code field for each work you have selected. Next, choose left or right to indicate where this new value should be placed in relation to whatever may already exist in the Code field. Note that this function adds to whatever may be in the Code field, it does not replace what is there. As such the function allows you to decide where in the field the new information should go. Click OK to execute the function. |
