Database Services

Database Conversion

Conversion of existing database(s), spreadsheets or other data sources in use by your organization.

Price: Price upon consultation

Database Creation

Either in conjunction with the conversion of your existing data, or the purchase of the American Symphony Orchestra League OLIS database, Fine Arts Software is pleased to offer database creation services. This enables you to start using OPAS immediately with your own orchestra’s data.

Standard Database creation

Fine Arts Software will create a customized OPAS database including:

• Seasons, Projects and Series used by your orchestra
• Names/Addresses of the Venues your orchestra uses
• Major Holidays through 2007
• Major Artist Management Agency contact information (as found in Musical America)
• Major music publisher and service organization contact information
• Your orchestra’s standard string complement(s) for easy assignment to compositions in the database

And, for the single season of your choosing:

• Your orchestra’s main classical subscription series - all concerts, conductors, soloists, composers, works*, and rehearsal schedules (if provided by you)

Price: Category 1 organizations - $900; Category 2 - $750; Category 3 - $500

Deluxe Database creation

All the components of the Standard database creation, plus:

• The Names/Addresses/Instrument and Seating order for all members of your orchestra
• Absence Types used by your orchestra
• Pay Rates used by your orchestra

Price: Category 1 organizations - $1,300; Category 2 - $1,050; Category 3 - $850 * premieres, commissions or works outside the standard orchestral repertoire cannot be included unless complete composer, title/movement, timing and instrumentation data is provided by you

Training

On-Site Training

Price: $ 750 / day plus all travel and lodging expenses

Phone / Internet Training

Fine Arts Software is pleased to now offer personalized phone training. Used most often in conjunction with an internet connection to the Fine Arts offices, this service offers targeted, efficient training for your staff. Sessions are billed to the nearest half-hour and are one-on-one (no conference calls or speaker phones, please). They can be as frequent as you like, and on any topic. Contact Fine Arts Software for further details.
Price: $60 / hour plus applicable long-distance phone charges. Billed to the nearest 30 min

Customization

Fine Arts Software can create custom reports and documents and do custom data analysis. Price: $ 80/ hour

Note: Services provided by Fine Arts Software are subject to the same conditions as OPAS License and Support fees. Fine Arts Software reserves the right to require a deposit before commencing any services.
