Auto-Generate Expenses from Activities

Description  

This function will assign the expense item(s) you create to any combination of activities.

Download   

Click here to download the required files and save them to your computer

Installation   

Double-click the file you downloaded and extract (unzip) it to the OPAS\PROGRAM folder on the Server. Restart OPAS on your own PC (there is no need to restart the server).

Open the Dates area and filter to the activities for which you wish to add expenses.

With the activities showing on the List screen, click the Function icon (the ‘gear wheel’ icon along the top of the OPAS screen), select the Add Expenses function and click Start Function

The standard OPAS Expense entry form will appear. Fill out the

• Quantity and Amount for the expense
• Expense Type (OPAS will automatically assign the Expense group and account number.
• Address or Payee (optional)

The function will fill in the rest of the Expense screen. Click the green OK button in the lower left of the window to save the expense item to each Activity.

Change Expense Project

Description  

Changes the Project assigned to (and fixed to) any expense item.

Click here to download the required files and save them to your computer

Installation   

Double-click the file you downloaded and extract (unzip) it to the OPAS\PROGRAM folder on the Server. Restart OPAS on your own PC (there is no need to restart the server).

To run..    

Open the Expenses area of OPAS and select any number or combination of cost items - it is recommended that you run the function on only one expense item at a time..

Click the Function icon and select Change Project and click the large Start Function button. Select the new Project from the drop-down and click OK.
