The Change Stand/Chair function consists of three files. All of the files are placed into the same folder: the OPAS\PROGRAM folder on your server (that is, the PROGRAM sub-folder within the main OPAS directory or folder on the Server). As with reports, the files need be placed in that one location only (they don’t need to be copied to local workstations). As with reports, each user of OPAS will need to restart OPAS on his/her computer in order to see the new function. The files are provided in a self-extracting format for easy download. Download this file: And then double-click on the file. You’ll see a screen that asks for the location to which the files should be unzipped. Locate the OPAS\PROGRAM folder on your SERVER, and click the Unzip button.

| RUN THE FUNCTION |
The function changes, or enters data into, the Stand / Chair field on the Main screen of the Services screen:
In the Services area of OPAS, isolate those musicians and services for which you want to change or add the Stand / Chair value. From the List screen, click the Function icon, select Change Stand / Chair function, and click the Start Function button. Type the new value and click the Green OK button.

| REFINEMENTS / ADDITIONAL INFORMATION | The related Change_Order1 function changes
the Order field (indicated above) for the set of services. From a
functional and reporting point of view there is no difference between the
two.
